Every 3rd Sunday every month | Bomarzo and the magic Etruscan pyramid
15,00 €
Discover the famous "Etruscan Pyramid", a truly fascinating place: a gigantic altar where the Etruscans celebrated rituals in honor of their deaths. Following a path in the woods, we will reach the remains of the early medieval village of Santa Cecilia. In search of the suggestive ruins scattered in the woods between the river and the overhanging rock wall, we will reach the remains of an ancient mill, near some beautiful waterfalls and from here we will go up to the Torre di Chia.
This tower, set of an Italian movie, stands thin and very high on the few remaining ruins of the ancient castle.
